A Twitter user identified as @gracii_funso has taken to the micro blogging app to mourn and announced the death of 2019 OAU best graduating student identified as Folashade Salako.
Folashade Salako won the 2019 Shalina Young Talent Award (SYTA) where she was crowned as Nigeria’s “best Pharmacy brain.
The best graduating student of her set, died on Wednesday, April 21st, from injury inflicted on her head during the car accident. The young promising lady was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH), in Ibadan, Oyo State for a surgical operation. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead after series of effort to save her.
According to Gracii who announced her death;
“If road traffic accidents were managed well, Folashade Salako best graduating student OAU Pharmacy School, winner of Shalina’s international Young Pharmacist Award wouldn’t have died this morning”.
