Recently, controversial media figure Solomon Buchi and Twitter celebrity Ozzie Etomi got into an online altercation.
The conflict started when Solomon Buchi responded to a frustrated Twitter user about women in 2023 creating content about relationships and males.
A user’s tirade at women concentrating their content on obtaining or owning a male was the initial tweet that ignited this dispute. In response, Solomon Buchi upheld women’s autonomy and emphasized that feminism is about empowering people to make their own decisions. He disclosed that a lady ought to be allowed to focus her content on a man if that is her desire.
But then things changed when Ozzie Etomi made disparaging remarks on Twitter, seemingly in disagreement with Solomon Buchi’s assertion. While omitting his name, she implied that he constantly monitors women’s behavior, implying that his wife must be fed up with him wasting time looking for trending tweets about women while she toils diligently to provide for the family. It was widely believed that Ozzie’s comments were directed at Solomon Buchi because of the situation and the frequency with which he tweets about women.
When Solomon Buchi finally responded to Ozzie Etomi’s comments, it was with an unabashed retaliation.
He said she was lonely and divorced, and he accused her of trying to force other people into the same predicament. He painted her as an elderly, depressed, and lonely feminist who had failed to keep her marriage intact and was now attempting to sabotage other people’s happiness. Not content to stop there, Solomon Buchi went so far as to age-shame Ozzie by claiming that she is old, miserable, and divorced, while he is a happily married, successful 28-year-old.
