Caramel Plug, a content producer, is currently trending on Twitter after being called out by a clothing retailer for allegedly obtaining free items but failing to credit them.
This comes only days after she was chastised for failing to reveal the name of a Nigerian brand she wore to an event, yet publicly stating the foreign designers of her shoe and bag.
Following the event, a seller came out to claim Caramel purchased the clothing from her and offered to credit her, but failed to do so.
She further accused the sketch creator of promising to credit her on social media in exchange for free clothes but failing to deliver.
Ruchy provided alleged evidence of their interactions to back up her claim, noting an incident when Caramel Plug tagged the Spanish fashion retailer Zara rather than crediting her for the free outfit she received.

Layi provided screenshots of her conversation with Caramel Plug, as well as the payment receipt, as confirmation of their transaction.
She further stated that clients who purchase clothing from her are not required to tag her business on social media because they have completely paid for the items.
She wrote,
“It’s my customers right to decide whether to tag our brand or not. Cause you paid for it! Which I don’t take for granted if you tag me to your post A 4.
But you claiming you sold the dress when you don’t even have the cloth on you page is funny asl,cause you saw the dress trending then you want to use it to shine??
Madam we will shine together, the difference here is we collected money.
I gift my sure customers a lot so that is the smallest thing we do here”
