Peruzzi, an Afrobeat musician and songwriter, recently addressed speculations in a follower conversation that he was the creative force behind one of Burna Boy’s tracks.
The follower had stated that Peruzzi wrote the popular song for Burna Boy and attacked Burna Boy for supposedly working with other songwriters while his followers applauded him for his skill with words, calling them “lost children.”
Along with accusing Burna Boy of regularly stealing songs from other artists, the follower threatened to stop Peruzzi from writing for him.
Peruzzi responded by forcefully refuting the notion and saying he shouldn’t be given credit for something he didn’t do. This essentially put an end to rumors that he wrote the song for Burna Boy.
Remember, there were rumors circulating recently claiming that Peruzzi was the author of Davido songs like “Unavailable” and “Risky.” He displayed his artistic brilliance in a recent freestyle, yet others had mistakenly identified him as the songwriter of these hits. Critics contended that Peruzzi would not have achieved the same level of popularity and acclaim for these songs as Davido did, even if he had independently released and performed them.
It’s important to note that Peruzzi and Davido joked around on the internet a few months ago. Netizens started criticizing other record label owners during the period of sorrow that followed the death of Mopat, who was signed to a company connected to Nairamalli. Signed to Davido’s DMW, Peruzzi hilariously disclosed that the only wrongdoing he had suffered from Davido was the theft of his original charger. Davido laughed back, letting her know that everything was good between them.
