The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has granted crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, bail but has seized his international passport since he has yet to meet bail requirements.
According to reports, Bobrisky was seized and detained by the EFCC on Wednesday night, April 3rd, 2024, at its Lagos command for naira misuse, naira note spraying, and currency mutilation.
The 31-year-old was summoned by the EFCC after a video surfaced of him spraying and flaunting wads of fresh Naira notes at the premiere of Ajakaju, a film produced by Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao, at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, on March 24, 2024.
Bobrisky has been granted bail, but still needs to meet the prerequisites for release, according to commission sources.
The bail conditions were however not disclosed by our source.
