David Ibiyeomie, a well-known Nigerian preacher, revealed that he had previously paid a million dollars to the church as an offering while living without a home.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie expressed empathy for his lack of a home or property at the time he made a big financial contribution to the church.
He stated that when he made the donation, only the accountant knew how much he gave. No one else in the congregation, including his wife, was aware of the donation until he delivered his experience.
The pastor claimed that his unselfish service to God had opened doors for him, making him one of the wealthiest pastors on the planet.
He went on to argue that success does not come without establishing one’s worth to God.
“When I gave one million dollars as offering, I had no house. I gave it on a Sunday, my wife was not even aware until she heard my testimony. It was only the Church accountant that knew as a privilege of his office when he saw he volume of money that came in,” he said in part.
