Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s former prime minister, has left €100 million to his 33-year-old lover, Fascina, in his will.
The three-time Italian prime minister was one of Italy’s wealthiest men before his death on June 12 at the age of 86 from Leukemia.
Silvio Berlusconi began a love involvement with Fascina, a Forza Italia lawmaker, in 2020. The couple had a symbolic ‘wedding’ in March 2022, and Berlusconi was said to have referred to Fascina as his “wife” on his deathbed.
In his will, the billionaire, whose empire is worth more than €6 billion, bequeathed the control of the family holding company Fininvest to his two eldest children.
He also gave €100 million to his brother, Paolo, and €30 million to Marcello Dell’Utri, a former senator from his Forza Italia party who had previously served a prison sentence for mafia connections.
According to his will, which was reported by the Italian news agency Ansa, his two eldest children, Marina and Pier Silvio, will have a 53% ownership in Fininvest, the family’s holdings.
“I leave the available stock in equal parts to my children Marina and Pier Silvio. I leave all the rest in equal parts to my five children Marina, Pier Silvio, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi,” he wrote in his will.
