Aba Dope, a Ghanaian social media sensation who has risen to prominence in recent weeks, has claimed that she has not only had surgery on her body, but she has also bleached her skin.
In a recent interview with Delay, Aba Dope said that she opted to bleach her hair after being informed by a high school teacher that she was ugly.
Aba Dope described what happened, saying she had belatedly decided to enter a beauty competition, but her teacher took her out.
She stated that the teacher advised her to join the choir instead of singing bass.
According to Aba, this was due to the fact that when she was black, she appeared masculine, nearly transgender.
However, bleaching has enhanced her beauty dramatically.
Dope had Delay in stitches with her matter-of-fact explanation of why she bleached her hair.
