Popular Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has taken to her social media page to speak on Baba Ijesha’s alleged rape saga involving a 14-year-old girl,says Nigeria is no place to raise kids.
Recall that, the veteran actor,Baba Ijesha who has been accused of molesting a minor seven years ago, will be reportedly released on Friday, April 30th.
A police source has confirmed that the actor may be released due to the ongoing strike action by judicial workers, according to the police source, Baba Ijesha will be released as it is against the law to hold him in custody without trial.
In reaction to this development, the actress condemned the organization and stated that Nigeria doesn’t have a proper constitution for seeing to children right.
In her words;
“In Nigeria, children have no rights, there are no laws guiding them. This is no place to raise your kids. Even the people in power, some of them are pedophiles . Keep your young ones safe. Be guarded”.
