Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, a Nigerian living in the United States, was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his wife in east Orange County, Florida.
According to an official statement provided by the Sheriff’s Office, around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, police officers were summoned to Taxiway Circle, a residential area near the Conway community.

When they arrived, they discovered Teddy’s 43-year-old wife, Nanchin Hassan Adeyemo, who had been shot. She was then transported to a local hospital, where she tragically died from her injuries.
Teddy has been recognized as the primary suspect in the case, and he has been charged with first-degree murder.
The Sheriff’s Office, however, released little other details on the event, other than to acknowledge that it was “domestic in nature.”
Hassan Adeyemo is now being held at the Orange County Jail without bail.
