Charly Boy a veteran Nigerian artist Charles Oputa asserted that political players may have had an influence on the current admissions controversy involving UTME candidate Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma.
Charly Boy, who is well known for strongly expressing his ideas on societal issues and attacking public personalities, used Twitter on Sunday to do so.
The problem arose after the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results were made available to the public. The candidate that received a 360 in that round was initially identified as Nkechiyere Umeh.
The Anglican Girls’ Secondary School in Uruagu Nnewi’s Mmesoma, a 19-year-old student, disagreed with this conclusion, claiming she had obtained a 362-point rating.

In response, the administration of Anambra State formed a committee to investigate her claims.
Mmesoma claimed that she had fabricated her exam results, and the committee’s findings corroborated her claim.
Many others, like Charly Boy, instinctively connected Mmesoma’s actions with the social effects of political leaders in their reactions to this news.
Charly Boy voiced his surprise on his Twitter page at Mmesoma’s skill in deceiving so many people—including himself—with her fluid defense and outward innocence.
He also stressed the importance of exercising prudence while making decisions, emphasizing that Mmesoma was still a talented individual who required parental guidance and advice.
He wrote;
“Mmesoma Ejikeme fooled many including me, checkout the fluency with which she defended herself with such innocence. These children na wa, ooo. She is still a brilliant girl so let’s not be in a hurry to destroy her, the parents have a lot of counselling to do with her.
By the way, who never fuckup, raise ur hand. She learn work from leaders that believed that forgery is good plus those who never found their weac result till date. Am sure she was in dis Naija as INEC was manipulating Nigeria electoral process.”
