Not my Fault, I grew up hearing my father call me bastard, I begged for love – Phyna

Since winning the N100 million BBNaija prize in 2022, Phyna’s father has accused her of abandoning him.

The public feud between Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, widely known as Phyna, and her father may not be over anytime soon.

Phyna’s father, Felix Otabor, berated the celebrity in a viral interview last week for treating her family with disrespect and hostility following her BBNaija victory.

“She disappeared into thin air as soon as the prize money was handed over to her, and she never returned home to butter our bread”, he said.

Phyna was hurt by the statement,she took to her Snapchat and wrote

“Growing up I always hear you are not my daughter. Yet I would beg for parental love. The truth is I have always begged people to love me. Today I have finally accepted it. No wonder, I for say. Guess I’m an ORPHAN”, she wrote.
