Kate Henshaw, a popular Nollywood actress, has turned to social media to criticize the current generation of millennials, known as Gen Z, for their chronic tardiness.
In an Instagram video, the 52-year-old actress questioned Gen Zs about their regular tardiness at social engagements.
Her recent experience at the All Stars inter-house sports event, where she arrived early and had to wait for others, including the hosts, Enioluwa and Tomike, prompted her to make this observation.
Kate Henshaw called out two typical excuses for being late and branded them as ridiculous. To begin, she stated that some declare they do not want to be the first to arrive, whilst the second category purposefully arrives late in order to make a great entry.
She claimed that both justifications are illogical, highlighting that tardiness demonstrates a lack of regard for oneself and the event’s host.
The actor further stated that Gen Zs mainly care about money and international visa appointments.
She wrote in the caption,
“Like I need answers in the comment section .
Why do people bother putting time for an event if it won’t be honoured??
Might as well say, come anytime you like.
It’s not palatable anymore, mbok. You people should stop it!!!
Oh, by the way, there is African time, and then there is Gen-Z time. @enioluwaofficial will be able to shed more light..
I greet you all ooo ..”
