Debola Okunneye, the late Kunle Okuneye’s son, confirmed the news on Monday, saying, “Yes, my father passed away this morning, and we are currently making arrangements for his funeral.”
Lastborn, a close friend and colleague of the deceased who worked as a director at Beach Nigeria Enterprises, a car hire service located at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, confirmed the information, saying that the late Okunneye would be laid to rest at 4 p.m. today, according to Islamic customs.
