An Ikorodu-based woman who went viral after hearing a song by renowned musician Wizkid has denied collecting N50 million from him.
The lady, identified as @je_ponmoe_gbogboikorodu on TikTok, gained popularity a few days ago after sharing a video of herself singing along to Wizkid’s Open and Close hit.
The video rapidly received over two million views and went over social media, capturing the attention of Wizkid fans who flocked to her page.

In response to rumors of obtaining N50 million from the musician, the woman said that her DM has been bombarded since the news broke.
Clarifying the reports, she stated that Wizkid did not send her money, but rather used the media to call out her phone number for financial assistance from the musician.
“Help me! People have been bothering me that Wizkid gave me N50M; help me! I have over 50 account numbers in my DM. I don’t have anything o, help me. Some have even named me Mama Wizkid. I did not receive any money,” she said in the Yoruba language.
