Tangla Isuwa, a 23-year-old guy from Adamawa State, confessed to bewitching a neighbor and turning him into a chicken for three weeks.
Tangla, who is from the Dong village in Demsa Local Government Area, admitted to bewitching Danladi Markus for allegedly killing his father in the community through witchcraft.
Against this context, some neighborhood kids pounced on Tangla and beat him up in an attempt to murder him for the purported crime.
On Monday, the police command announced the arrest of roughly 15 people for allegedly attacking the suspected witch through its spokesman, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje.
Tangla told SP Nguroje that sometime around 2020, a man known as Mabudi handed him charms to reinforce himself, stating that Mabudi had advised him to mix the charms with white chicken and consume it after cooking it.
Tangla presented the metaphysical world story, saying that after eating the chicken combined with the charms, he began seeing animals with three legs, and occasionally six legs, that no one else could see.
Tangla stated that it was at this point that he realized he had been initiated into occultism, and that he had since become a full-fledged witch.

He said that Mabuda fled the meeting place, leaving him behind, and that some teenagers from the neighborhood invaded the gathering, forcing him to either lose Danladi or kill.
Tangla claimed that he had pleaded with the boy to wait until 12:00am for him to lose Danladi, and that they would not kill him, but that he would ensure his safety.
He entered inside the spirit and released him, but he suffered greatly since Mabudi did not want him to lose Danladi, but rather to slaughter him for meat.
Tangla Isuwa promised that he had succeeded in freeing Danladi and that he is now well and healthy, despite the fact that he is a witch and vehemently denied killing anybody
