Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, an award-winning Nigerian artist, has warmed the hearts of many after expressing his gratitude to a group of Ghanaian market ladies who danced to his song.
This gesture comes after a video of Makola market vendors dancing and grooving to his hit song “City Boys” from his latest album, “I Told Them,” went viral on social media.
The video piqued the interest of the self-styled ‘Odogwu,’ who responded with a love emoji in the TikTok comment section.
According to a recent update, Burna Boy has gone above and beyond to express his gratitude to the women by booking a billboard in the market.
“Burnaboy loves the market women from the Happy Town Project,” the billboard says, accompanying a photo of the women.
The musician shared a video of the billboard on Instagram, revealing that the women made his day, inspiring him to make theirs.
He captioned the video,
“You all made my day, I hope I made yours #ITOLDTHEM
Love,
Damini”
