Don Jazzy, a Nigerian music executive, resorted to social media to express his shock after receiving an invitation to his own wedding, which allegedly took place last weekend.
Gbemisola Jaramat, the bride, reportedly organized an imagined wedding with the celebrity and even delivered the invitation card and traditional clothes (aso-ebi) to his estate.
The wedding was scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, at the Yoruba Tennis Club in the Obalende district of Lagos state.
After getting the card, Mavin Records CEO went online to express his confusion over this one-sided wedding, of which he was unaware.
The 40-year-old music producer, who is now single and not romantically involved with anyone, shared a photo of the invitation and traditional costume and commented,
“I’m confused. So apparently I missed my own wedding last week. See the invite and aso-oke they left at my estate gate. Since I didn’t agree to get married, maybe they married me in absentia .”
