In a post on X, then known as Twitter, he explained that the law enforcement agency invaded his grandmother’s estate without a warrant, merely on the spur of the moment.
He further stressed that citizens were speaking out against the activities, but nothing was done or uttered in response.
He shared a screenshot of the discussion from his grandmother’s estate site with the description,
“EFCC raided my grandma’s estate in Lekki this morning by 5am. No intelligence, no warrant, just random raid unfortunately. Woke up to it being discussed on their estate platform. Citizens are speaking now no one is listening till this becomes protests. This is ridiculous.”
While the screenshot’s content revealed that when the EFCC knocked down his grandma’s door, they fled when they realized that the apartment was occupied by a lady.
