Stanley Ontop, a filmmaker, has asked for the arrest of actress and filmmaker Adanma Luke, whose film The Other Side Of Life features late Nollywood actor Pope Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, and a number of other performers.
Remember that on Wednesday, April 10, at Anam River in Anambra state, a disaster occurred on the boat conveying the cast and crew, resulting in the deaths of some, including Junior Pope.
According to Stanley, the boat was only supposed to transport six passengers, but it ended up carrying fifteen people at once. He further stated that Nigerian filmmakers, particularly those from Asabawood, benefit resource management. Anyone who makes a complaint faces blacklisting within the company.
In addition, he stated that the boat driver need to be detained in addition to Adanma because nobody else on board had a life jacket.
