She made headlines recently after a video from her wedding reception showed her abandoning her spouse to embrace and kneel before Moses Bliss, a gospel artist. Many criticized her activities, claiming that they were unacceptable for a married woman.

Her husband, in particular, defended her, telling everyone to mind their own business. Furthermore, her buddy, added light on the situation, noting that Ekene’s act of bowing was a spiritual response to the anointing present, since Moses Bliss had performed a spiritual song.
