Remi Lucidi, a French daredevil stuntman known for his expertise in extreme sports, died after falling from the 68th level of the Tregunter Tower complex in Hong Kong.
The 30-year-old, known online as Remi Enigman, was discovered dead after a tragic fall from the high-rise, according to the South China Morning Post.
The dead apparently arrived at the building about 6 p.m. local time and used an elevator to the 49th level before taking the stairs to the top.
According to police, Lucidi was last seen alive at 7:40 p.m., when he tapped on the outside of a penthouse window, prompting a resident’s maid to phone the cops.
At the scene, police uncovered Lucidi’s camera, which had videos of his past actions. His most recent Instagram post, from last week, confirmed his presence in Hong Kong.
The police have yet to provide an official statement regarding the cause of his death.
The proprietor of the hostel where Lucidi was residing, Gurjit Kaur, characterized him as a “friendly and humble guy.”
“He was healthy and fit and happy-faced,” Kaur told the news outlet. “I feel very sad.”
He chatted with Lucidi on many occasions before his death, according to a staffer at the hostel, and he claimed that he was in Hong Kong on a holiday.
“He told me he was going to hike a mountain when I asked where he was going. He said he wanted to hike a lot when he was here,” said the worker.
